Version: 2010 Diamond Black Ice FLX
Pros: Very smooth, easy drawing, forgiving, and quiet bow, one of my favorites!
Cons: Not a speed demon, it’s smooth remember?
This is a great little bow. Mine has the 50lb limbs and I set it up for bowfishing with the poundage backed off more. It worked great for this if not still a bit overkill for fishing. Fast forward till now and my 12 year old is ready for his first real hunting bow. I considered going out and buying a new youth model but thought about trying this bow for him instead. I unstrung it to see how far the limb bolt could be safely backed out and there are plenty of threads for at least 10 full turns. I restrung it and to my amazement the ATA and brace height are still in spec. I put a few turns back in and got it to a comfortable draw weight, then adjusted the draw length and let off (press not needed to change, very simple). I haven’t check the draw weight yet but it’s in the 30’s and slinging a 400 grain arrow fast enough to kill a deer with a fixed broadhead. He loves shooting it and shoots it well. Best part is it is easily adjusted to grow with him. Very smooth, easy drawing, forgiving, and quiet bow, one of my favorites!

Pros: This bow is a well built simple design resulting in a very smooth draw cycle. The great back wall makes it a tree-stand bowhunter's dream. Easy to tune the durable steel cams; and lastly the velvet finish...very durable
Cons: Very little to criticize here with this gem...
