Diamond Carbon KnockoutBowtech Carbon RoseMission Craze
Summary
Summary review written by our editors.

At a $749 launch MSRP, the Diamond Carbon Knockout answers a real gap: a genuinely purpose-built women's carbon bow rather than a recolored men's model. The full carbon Knight riser keeps it to 3.2 pounds, the ladies-tuned Synchronized Binary Cam holds a real valley across its 22.5 to 27 inch range, and the 302 fps IBO is plenty for whitetail-range hunting once you accept, as with any bow, that real short-draw arrow speed lands below the IBO figure. What I keep coming back to is how the smaller cam and the light carbon frame make the whole bow feel approachable, drawing lighter than the number and settling into a firm limb-stop wall that builds confidence fast. It arrives ready to hunt with the full R.A.K. kit, and although Diamond has retired it from the current lineup after a 2018 to 2025 run, remaining stock and used examples keep it relevant for shoppers who want carbon without a four-figure bill. It is an excellent bow for the newer-to-intermediate female or short-draw archer who values light weight, a forgiving draw, and out-of-box readiness, particularly for treestand whitetail hunting and form-building target work. Buyers who want the same platform for a little less should look at the Bowtech Carbon Rose, and those who prioritize maximum adjustability and the lowest price should look at the Mission Craze. From some experience to a long time archery veteran this bow is ideal for the female hunter. It is the lightest women's bow available with its' forged carbon composite riser and it is all around solid in every category. This bow is designed for women shooters who want more than just a youth bow with some pink or purple accents. The technology put into it is up at the top in the archery world. The lady friendly architecture make it light, smooth drawing, and compact with great speed. The quality is second to none. It has a MSRP of $699 which may seem high to some, but it isn't when looking at a bow in this category of quality. With all the attributes that come with this bow it is hard to beat for the serious hunter. Read full review...

It is hard to not get excited about the Mission Craze when looking at the design. The bow, retailing for just under $300, shoots well, has lots of adjustability, looks like a high end bow with the reflexed cut out riser, parallel limb design, and the flawless Lost Camo AT. Mission does offer three different packages of accessories based on price of accessories; the Pro Hunter, the Bow Hunter and Basic. Any of these packages can be purchased separately for the Craze. The bow would be ideal for any young archer as the bow could grow the archer into adulthood due the adjustability in both draw length and draw weight. The Craze could also benefit any new archer who wants some shootability at a very affordable price. It is difficult to find any real flaws with the Craze due to the simplicity of the bow, how it shoots and the price of this model. The Craze, like many of the other Mission models, is an outstanding bow for the money. Read full review...

Pros
  • Ladies-tuned Synchronized Binary Cam and a 22.5-27 inch range give short-draw archers a real valley and full performance, not a men's cam run at its low end
  • Full carbon Knight riser holds the bare bow to 3.2 lb, so it stays easy to hold steady and carry all day even with the R.A.K. kit mounted
  • Draw cycle pulls light and smooth off the smaller cam, forgiving for newer and returning archers building form
  • Solid limb-stop back wall and a forgiving 6.75 inch brace height make it quiet and accurate straight out of the box
  • A full carbon riser offered well below the four-figure price a carbon bow usually commands
  • Great speed
  • Light in weight
  • Easy to adjust draw length and weight
  • Smooth and Quiet
  • Adjustability
  • Relatively quiet without a silencing package due to design
  • Smooth shooting for a low end bow
  • Fast for a bow that has this much adjustability
  • Very affordable

Cons
  • Built around a shorter-draw archer, so the range tops out at 27 inches and 60 lb peak; a taller or higher-poundage shooter is better served by a longer-draw platform such as the men's Diamond Carbon Cure
  • Changing draw length means repositioning the module and draw-stop post with a hex wrench, though no bow press is needed; less instant than tool-free grow-with-me cams, and a quick pro-shop tune sorts it
  • Lack of color options
  • Small amount of recoil and vibration when shot without accessories
