| Summary Summary review written by our editors. | The Bear Prowess is a women-specific single-cam Ready-to-Hunt bow that does one thing deliberately well: it fits a shorter-draw shooter out of the box and makes the first seasons easy. At a $399.99 launch MSRP (later $499.99) it packs a complete Trophy Ridge kit, a smooth and forgiving draw, 80-percent let-off, and a quiet shot into a roughly three-pound, 29-inch package that a smaller-framed hunter can actually hold up and carry. It is not a speed bow - the 290 fps IBO rating is a ceiling it never reaches in a real hunting setup, and the 50-pound cap keeps it out of elk-and-long-range territory. What I keep coming back to is that Bear resisted the temptation to sell a cut-down unisex bow with a pink wrap and instead shaped the geometry, the cam window, and the grip around the actual shooter. An excellent choice for the woman, shorter-draw, or new hunter who wants a bow that fits immediately and is easy to shoot well, particularly for whitetail and antelope from a stand or blind. Buyers who want maximum one-bow adjustability should also look at the Diamond Infinite Edge Pro, and those who want carbon and a heavier draw at a premium should look at the Diamond Carbon Knockout. Read full review... | The Infinite Edge Pro came back for a reason: it does one thing better than almost anything at its price, and that is stretch to fit whoever picks it up. The 2026 Legacy edition keeps the formula - 13 to 31 inches of draw, 5 to 65 pounds, an 80-percent let-off and a smooth, quiet shot - and wraps it in a complete ready-to-hunt package at around $330, less than the model cost at its 2015 launch. It gives up five pounds of peak weight and ten fps against the original, trades that are invisible to the beginner, youth archer, and shared-family buyer this bow is built for. In my time around bows like this, the ones that get a household actually shooting are rarely the fastest or the quietest - they are the ones that fit everyone and are cheap enough to shoot without worry, and the Infinite Edge Pro is squarely that bow. It is an excellent choice for youth archery, new adult hunters, and any family that wants a single adjustable rig, particularly strong as a first bow that will still fit years later. Buyers who want more top-end poundage or speed for big game should also look at the Bear Cruzer G3. Read full review... | At a $749 launch MSRP, the Diamond Carbon Knockout answers a real gap: a genuinely purpose-built women's carbon bow rather than a recolored men's model. The full carbon Knight riser keeps it to 3.2 pounds, the ladies-tuned Synchronized Binary Cam holds a real valley across its 22.5 to 27 inch range, and the 302 fps IBO is plenty for whitetail-range hunting once you accept, as with any bow, that real short-draw arrow speed lands below the IBO figure. What I keep coming back to is how the smaller cam and the light carbon frame make the whole bow feel approachable, drawing lighter than the number and settling into a firm limb-stop wall that builds confidence fast. It arrives ready to hunt with the full R.A.K. kit, and although Diamond has retired it from the current lineup after a 2018 to 2025 run, remaining stock and used examples keep it relevant for shoppers who want carbon without a four-figure bill. It is an excellent bow for the newer-to-intermediate female or short-draw archer who values light weight, a forgiving draw, and out-of-box readiness, particularly for treestand whitetail hunting and form-building target work. Buyers who want the same platform for a little less should look at the Bowtech Carbon Rose, and those who prioritize maximum adjustability and the lowest price should look at the Mission Craze.
