Version: 2007 PSE X-Force (HF Cam)
Pros: Reliability, speed, quiet, deadly.
Cons: None
I bought this bow after shooting everything available in 2007. It's November of 2021 and it's still the best bow that was ever built by any manufacturer. It's amazed everyone who has ever seen it shoot. Its stocked freezers for over a decade with every legal game animal I could hunt.
Version: 2007 PSE X-Force (HF Cam)
Pros: It's fast, quiet and the draw isn't as tough as other speed bows.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind, I like everything about it.
I have been shooting this bow from the day I pulled it new from the box. I shoot it with the 50 lb limbs bottomed out at 52 and a 29 inch draw. I have never felt the need to shoot a stabilizer and its still quiet with little to no hand shock. I just wish PSE hadn't strayed away from this cam design so others could feel the difference from todays bows.
Version: 2007 PSE X-Force (HF Cam)
Pros: Still one of the fastest bows in the world and that's incredible for a 12 year old bow! I've killed a deer every year with it, VERY accurate and powerful!
Cons: Unfortunately I'm starting to have problems with my anchor shoulder and the bow can't be turned down from 70#. At 65% letoff it's getting to be tough.
I've never chronographed this bow. My pro-shop did back when I first bought it and it came in right around 345fps. I've shot 100 and 125gr. broadheads on 400grpi arrows and they stay stable out to 40yd.s before they start to drop! I don't know why PSE ever got away from the HF cams, I like this bow better than any of their newer ones I've tried. My only wish is that I could turn the draw weight down some since I'm in my 60's and It's hard to hold full draw with 65% letoff at my age.
Version: 2008 PSE X-Force (HF Cam)
Pros: Axle to axle length; speed; QUIETNESS! Smooth draw
Cons: none
I have the 2008 HF version in 30" draw and 60 lb limbs. It has a G5 Rock 7 pin sight with light; a Premier TM rest; a Limbsaver 9" stabilizer and an Alpine 5- arrow quiver. I'm shooting 29" Cabela's Carbon Hunter arrows with 65 grain field points/Rocket mechanical broadheads. The bow is extremely fast & quiet and has such a smooth draw cycle for a fast bow. I get a big smile on my face every time I go out to shoot.
Version: 2009 PSE X-Force (GX Cam)
Pros: Super fast, very compact, excellent stopping power.Quiet as a church mouse with no vibration.
Cons: If you wind it up to max,the draw cycle can be a bit aggressive, but thats pretty much the same with most speed bows.Other than that,my bow has been faultless.
For hunting here in Australia, this bow does it all.The punch it packs is brilliant.Be it on the range or in the bush ,this bow shoots pretty much a flat curve.I use 350 spine Trophy Ridge arrows with 125 grain broadheads and have no problem with pass throughs on 99.9% of game. The bow is super quiet, vibration free and very easy to work on.Great if something goes wrong out in the bush.Set up right, this is an awsome bow.AWSOME!
Version: 2009 PSE X-Force (GX Cam)
Pros: Its fast quiet and mine has been maintenance free.
Cons: Honestly nothing . Its all Good.
This Bow shoots my 385 grain (actual wt) XT Hunters at an Amazing 312 Ft / Sec according to my Chronograph. It's as quiet as my Mathews but not quite as forgiving considering it's a short XF-TStand-GX (tree stand) model. But ask me which one comes out of the case 1st and it's always the X-Force. Don't know why but it's more accurate and has less vibration. I'm 63 and really enjoy shooting this Bow.
