Summary
Summary review written by our editors.

Overall the price tag on the ShowDown is at a level that anyone can afford. If you are giving archery a try for the first time this would be a solid choice for you. If you are just looking for an affordable rig then the installation of some vibration dampening components will most likely been needed to help with consistent shooting. In conclusion this bow has potential but in most cases would probably suit the beginner archer the best. Read full review...

While the Bear Lights Out is not very fast and could have better strings, overall, this is a good quality bow at a very affordable price. Admittedly, this is a nice shooting bow due to its generous brace height, solid frame, and good silencing system. While many shooters are not very happy about the quality of its strings, they say the Lights Out is surprisingly quiet and smooth for its price. At just 3.7 pounds and measuring 30 inches from axle to axle, this maneuverable and lightweight bow is a good choice for tree-stand or blind hunters or archers who prefer short bows. While it's possible to buy a better quality and more expensive bow with similar specs, the Lights Out is positioned as one of the best rigs for the money. Read full review...
