The PSE Silverhawk is a very affordable, ready to shoot bow package. It comes with a quiver, arrow rest, and sights making it a great rig to get started with. You'll just need to pick up a few arrows, and you're ready to hit the field.
Riser
The Silverhawk employs a deflex riser. While this design makes the bow look very simple compared to the high end bows of today, the deflex riser actually makes this bow much easier to aim and hold on target. This, of course, helps any archer, beginner or advanced, to be a more accurate shooter.Eccentric System
The draw cycle on the Silverhawk is very smooth, easy drawing and does boast a pretty good back wall. Upon release of the arrow there is a fair amount of noticeable vibration. The addition of a good stabilizer and string leeches will do wonders to calm down the vibes.PSE Silverhawk vs. PSE Deer Hunter

When you look at the Silverhawk and Deer Hunter side by side there are some noticeable differences. The Silverhawk is longer axle to axle and has a deflex riser, while the PSE Deer Hunter is a bit shorter and employs a slightly reflexed riser. However, there is a little more to it than that. The Deer Hunter does allow for more adjustments and thus, can be suitable for youngsters. Were as the Silverhawk is well built for an adult just getting into the sport because of its ease to aim and hold on target.
