Summary
Summary review written by our editors.

For someone wanting to get into archery or just learn how to shoot, the PSE Silverhawk is a good option that will not break the bank. During its three year run (2007-2009) this bow was the most affordable in the PSE line-up. It may be questionable whether or not this makes the rig a very good value but the fact is, this bow is good for learning how to shoot along with being a decent first hunting bow, a good back-bow or even a good rig for bowfishing. Getting someone involved in archery is always a rewarding experience and with the Silverhawk it does not have to be an expensive one. Read full review...

While the PSE Deer Hunter may not be the top quality bow that most of us want to shoot, it is a very good all-around bow, especially for a beginner looking to get into archery and not spend a lot of money. This rig is an accurate and forgiving bow that will serve its shooter well, whether a new archer just learning to shoot or someone who has been shooting for years, it can get the job done. This bow is especially great for the beginner because it can be adjusted to grow with the shooter be the only bow many people would ever need. Read full review...
