Obsession Final Pro X3T Review

The Bottom Line:The Final Pro X3T is a sweet offering from Obsession for 2019. This target rig shoots great, has amazing specifications, and the most customization options available from a factory in 2019. If for no other reason, shooters should check out the Obsession website to see all the available options available for the Final Pro X3T straight from the factory. The Final Pro X3T accommodates shooters from 26-inches all the way out to 33.5-inches. For a bow with a 38-inch axle-to-axle measurement, it only weighs 4.5-pounds bare, which is extremely lightweight for a target bow. This allows shooters to place their stabilizer weight exactly where they want it without making the bow too heavy in the end. For those on the market for a new target rig, and wanting a truly customized bow, for a very reasonable $1099 price tag, the Obsession Final Pro X3T is worth an honest look. This bow has everything target archers can want as long as they can handle the higher let-off and absolutely solid back wall feel. Kudos to Obsession again for all the customization available on this rig. It is really cool of them to give shooters so many options to personalize their target bow... read full review

Obsession HB33

Obsession HB33 Review

The Bottom Line:The 2019 Obsession HB33 is a bow for growing archers, or those wanting to get started in the world of compound archery. The entry level price of only $599 is an absolute screaming deal for any archer fitting within the 26-30-inch draw length range, even if they are done growing and no longer new to the sport. Obsession offers more customization than any brand on the market in regards to allowing shooters to choose their own finish and color schemes. Being able to mix and match 15 different patterns and nine different string colors is a neat experience and gives shooters a great deal of ownership choosing exactly what their new rig is going to look like. It would be nice for the limbs to have a little more adjustment within each max weight configuration to make it easier to grow with shooters. Other than that, the largest negative for some with the high let off, solid back wall is very likely to be a huge positive for just as many shooters. The Obsession HB33 is a fantastic bow, at an even better price. Anyone on the market for a new hunting bow owes it to themselves to check out an HB33. They may be the best high end bow for the cheapest price for all of 2019... read full review

Obsession HB33 Huntress

Obsession HB33 Huntress Review

The Bottom Line:The HB33 Huntress is awesome. Perhaps the largest negative to the Huntress is the minimal difference between it and the HB33. The bow feels awesome on the shot, has a large number of finish patterns to customize and create a little personal flavor on the finished product, and is just about right in every category for growing with shooters as they get bigger. Obsession is marketing this bow as a ladies bow, which could potentially be the only rig a shooter could ever own and that is totally accurate. In addition to that, the HB33 Huntress is only $599. Some folks may be leary they are getting a lower quality rig when considering it is roughly half the price of many flagship bows. However, after spending any amount of time with the Huntress, shooters will understand why some feel this may be the best valued bow on the market for 2019. Some shooters may prefer more holding weight, and a little more give on the back end. However, those without a preference, or those liking the feel of a rock solid back wall with low holding weight, the Obsession HB33 Huntress is worth a hard look for only $599... read full review

Obsession Turmoil Review

The Bottom Line:Obsession Bows has not only met, but exceeded the ever-growing expectations of the competitive archery market with their new-for-2017 Turmoil. With a strong, well designed riser, absolutely no post-shot vibration out of the box, and an impressive high performance cam system, there are very few other compounds on the market that rival it in similar price categories. Although the modular draw length adjustment system doesn't allow easy draw length adaptability on the fly, the strings may need to be replaced in a season or two, and this bow can only be ordered in two finish options, there is lots of reasons not to complain about the few little things that aren't ideal with this compound. For less than $700 bare bow, an archer can get a piece of equipment that will not only last lifetimes, but contain a lifetime warranty along with that as long as the Obsession Bows decal stays on the riser. What else is there to ask?.. read full review

Obsession Final Cut Review

The Bottom Line:Obsession Bows has taken their time to develop a compound that is not only built to impress, but to perform and last as well. Although on the expensive end of target compounds, there are many features that stand out that make this bow earn a spot in an archer's hands, from its endless customizability from the factory to its ease of tuning and forgiveness at the shot. The Final Cut, with its generous brace height and axle to axle measurement, lifetime warranty from Obsession Bows, and it newly implemented true shoot-thru cam system, is definitely one for any and all interested target archers to get their hands on and shoot at their local dealer... read full review

Obsession Fusion 6 Review

The Bottom Line:Although Obsession Archery is still a small and young company, they are making a name for themselves with smooth, quiet, and accurate shooting bows. This is only one example of the technology and craftsmanship displayed by Obsession. This 32.25" ATA, 6" brace height beast is to be reckoned with. With such a buttery smooth draw cycle, this rig should not produce the speed it does, but it easily throws a fully decked out arrow weighing 400 grains down range at over 300 fps, and the 356 fps IBO is within reach. If you have the need for speed, give this one a look... read full review

Obsession Phoenix Review

The Bottom Line:The 2014 Obsession Phoenix is a very good bow for archers at any level. With a variety of max weight limbs, the very smooth draw from the dual-track cam system, and the dead-in-hand feel, it will easily fit the archer's needs. For the beginner, it is an easy platform to shoot. For the hunter, it is accurate and deadly quiet, and fast. And for the competition shooter, it is solid and accurate. This is one rig that truly has everything the shooter will want... read full review

Obsession Sniper GT

Obsession Sniper GT Review

The Bottom Line:The Obsession Sniper GT is a redesign of an older platform. The changes include wider limb pockets, a machined cable slide, and slightly bigger cams that provide a smooth draw and give the shooter plenty of speed at 340 fps. The short ATA (30 inches) will be perfect in any tree stand or ground blind and is not cumbersome to move around. With a multitude of peak draw weights to choose from, this rig will fit just about all archers. Obsession has been making a name for themselves with high-quality, quiet, and very efficient bows, and this one does not stray from the norm... read full review

Obsession Fusion 7

Obsession Fusion 7 Review

The Bottom Line:Obsession Bows hit the jackpot for 2015, continuing their market-changing platform for producing highly customizable, vibration-free bows with impressive draw cycles and respectable IBO speeds to boot. This is ultimately notable with the Fusion 7's fast 346fps IBO and 7" brace height combo. Although the draw length specific cam system does not leave room for adjustability before complete cam replacement, it creates the ultra-efficient draw cycle previous Obsession bow owners know and enjoy. For $999, it definitely sits high up on the price range of compounds on the market today, however for a flagship-level compound such as the Fusion 7, it may be in, or under an archer's price range for a bow of this stature. To say the least, it deserves a shot along with all of the other top manufacturer's compounds in the archery trade... read full review

Obsession Evolution Review

The Bottom Line:Obsession Archery may not be the biggest or most recognized company at the moment, but the Evolution they have brought to the table in 2014 is swarming the industry. The incredible amount of customization, high performance, and outstanding finish is nearly unparalleled with other bows in its $859 price range at the moment. To some shooters, the Evolution will be a bit heavy, but to those shooters that pick it up, it will not be an easy bow to put down... read full review

Obsession Knightmare Review

The Bottom Line:The 2015 Obsession Knightmare GT was designed with the hunter in mind. Although other shooters have said it is a modular cam version of the Obsession Delta 6, this bow has an attitude all of its own. With a 28 13/16" ATA and a 6" brace height, it is perfect for the ground blind or the tree stand. All though it has a slightly shorter max draw length at 29," with the 70# limb set, this rig will send arrows flying at a very respectable 338 fps. With the price point of this rig, the shooter gets the ever-present quality of Obsession bows, accuracy, speed, smoothness, and a quiet shot... read full review

Obsession Addiction Review

The Bottom Line:With enough speed, camo options, and a quiet shot, this bow meets the standards of archers of all experience levels looking to head for the woods. However, with bright colors, customizable combinations, and features of a high end target bow, this compound can be the dream of archers simply looking to stack arrow upon arrow in targets around the country. For right around $800, this superior compound from Obsession Bows can be ordered fully to your liking and shipped to your door either by hunting season or by the date of your next tournament. The Addiction from Obsession Bows is a perfect example of their success and will continue to be one of their most appealing models for the future; with speed, shootability, and extreme quietness, there isn't much more to ask for in a modern high performance compound... read full review
