Bear Archery has created another exceptional product in the Arena 34. On paper, the bow matches or exceeds what most shooters are interested in when thinking about a longer axel to axel hunting bow. When favoring in the feel of the H15 cam system and its many adjustments to give the bow some personal tweaks, the Bear Arena 34 is worth a look for anyone wanting a new hunting bow. For $899, the bow is priced with the industry's top of the line bows, but the price tag is a bit hard for some shooters to swallow. The strings are not bad quality, but they will take a few shots to completely settle down without the peep wanting to twist. After the initial break in period though, shooter should be good for a while. The bottom line is that the Arena 34 is a nice offering for those on the market for a longer hunting bow. Bear has combined performance, adjustability, and a compact design into a really nice looking Arena 30. The specifications on this bow are great, and the feel on the shot matches. The strings did seem to take some time settling into position, but the bow shot great and felt good. The $899 price tag is competitive for a bow of this caliber, but it does not make the price any easier to swallow. The Arena 30 does a lot of things really well.
