Bear LS2 | Bear LS4 | |||
Summary Summary review written by our editors. | Bear has done it again producing a great performing bow, in a package deal, for only $550. 320 feet per second is a bit slow, but the easy draw cycle and solid hold on target is well worth the slower arrow for some shooters. 80% let off feels amazing with this rig, and the balance of the bow on target is quite shocking for a bow at this price point. It would be nice for Bear to offer this model in more finish options, but for a hunting bow, the Realtree Xtra Green pattern does as it is supposed to do. Just about any shooter can fit into the LS 2 as well having a draw length range of 23-30-inches. For shooters on the market for a high-end hunting bow, well equipped, without a massive price tag, the LS 2 is going to very tough to beat. Read full review... | The Bear LS 4 does not have all of the latest technology created by Bear engineers for 2017. It also does not have anything that is brand new to the archery world or that will be highlighted on the cover of a magazine. However, the Bear LS 4 does everything shooters want it to. It has high let off in 80%, offers fine enough speeds of 330 feet per second, and comes fully loaded with some nice Trophy Ridge accessories. The LS 4 will more than likely appeal to new hunters wanting to give bow hunting a try without spending a fortune on top of the line equipment. It does stink for left-handed archers since the LS 4 is only built in right-handed models. The Realtree Xtra Green does look nice, but it is the only pattern offered on the LS 4. For the price, the LS 4 is tough to beat. As long as shooters do not need the latest and greatest technology, the LS 4 is a great shooter and should make lots of people happy.
