Compound Bow Comparator

The Bowtech Insanity CPXL uses a lot of Bowtech engineering to create a nice shooting bow. Offering a 7-inch brace height, a 35-inch axel-to axel measurement, and IBO speeds up to 340 feet per second, the CPXL is a great bow sure to appeal to a lot of shooters. It appears that Bowtech has addressed the finish issues this year, but only time will tell if the finish will withstand everyday use. For shooters on a strict budget, the suggested retail price of $1049 may be tough to manage. The Insanity CPX combines their fast shooting technology from the Destroyer 350 with the popular Center Pivot limb technology to create a fast shooting shock free bow. There is not a lot to dislike about this bow other than the potential finish issues from the past, which have not impact on how great the bow shoots. However, for the money, the bow should not have any finish flaws. The great news is that the finish has been updated from that of year's past, so only time will tell if the new finish has cured the peeling issues. Regardless, the Insanity CPX is a great shooting bow that offers fast speeds, a smooth draw and solid back wall, with a dead in the hand release.
