The Bear Game Over is one of those rigs that isn't going to break the bank but will give you all the attributes in a bow that you need to have a great set up. Being lightweight, quick and smooth this bow is a very solid choice for the beginner or an archer on a budget.

Finish

The finish on the Game Over is a high quality, durable finish available in Realtree all purpose green. The limb pockets and cam & idler wheel are coated in a green finish.

Riser

The riser is a one piece riser made of machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. This is a very durable riser with a cut out design and is engineered to have minimum riser reflex.

Limbs/Limb Pockets

The limbs on this rig are Bear's Quad Flare limbs, which are made with the compression molded technology. These limbs rest in the beyond parallel position when at full draw and with their short stature pack a lot of energy at the shot. The limb pockets on the Game Over are aluminum zero tolerance pockets designed to have a tight fit between the limb and riser.

Grip

The grip on the Game Over is a one piece synthetic composite grip with the Bear logo featured across it. This grip is designed to give you a warm feel in cold weather situations.

Eccentric System

This rig comes equipped with a single cam and idler wheel system. It is a perimeter weight modular cam system that has an adjustable draw length range from 25-31" in 1/2" increments. This system boasts a quick 305 fps IBO rating with a very comfortable 80% let off and a draw weight range from 40-70 pounds.

Other Components

The Game Over comes equipped with a single arc string suppressor. This is designed to cut down on string vibration and noise. Also available on this bow is the optional "ready to hunt" package. This package includes a Trophy Ridge sight, stabilizer & wrist strap and quiver. It also comes with a whisker biscuit rest and string loop all for $100 more than the bare bow.

Shootability

The draw on this bow is very smooth because of the non aggressive cam system. There is very little hump and the valley is very good. When at full draw the back wall is a bit spongy but not real bad. The 80% let off allows you to hold this bow for a long period of time without arm fatigue. When shot this bow is quiet and has very little vibration.

These two bows are similar but the Done Deal is coming in at 311 fps and the Game Over is 305 fps IBO. Bow these bows share the same cam and idler wheel system. The Bear Done Deal has two string suppressors to the Game Over's one but the Game Over has a longer more forgiving brace height. The Game Over also has a wider range in draw weights that will suit a wider range of archers.

Good hunting bow

The Game Over is a good choice for the bow hunter. Lightweight, quick and short axle to axle will make this suitable for tree stand hunting or from a blind. This bow could also be used from recreational use as well.

Summary

Whether you are a beginner or an archer on a budget this bow's economic price tag will be appealing to many archers. It is very smooth, quick and lightweight, all things that make this a very shootable rig. With the "ready to hunt" package option this even further makes this system a great value. For a mid range bow this is a very solid choice.
