Summary
Summary review written by our editors.

The Hoyt Rampage XT is a very well balanced bow with great shootability characteristics. While it's a mid-range priced bow, it is nearly as good as the top end Hoyt bows like Carbon Element. Although a bare bow could be a bit quieter and could have less vibration, when outfitted with a stabilizer the Rampage XT is nearly immaculate hunting bow. Experts firmly agree this perfectly balanced bow is very accurate, has a smooth draw cycle with a very solid back wall and generates impressive speeds without much noise or vibration. Absolutely the best value for money from the 2011 Hoyt line, the Rampage XT is an ideal choice for all hunters or recreational shooters looking for a very affordable and high quality rig with great shootability characteristics. The Hoyt CRX 32 is a lightweight, compact, and well balanced bow with extremely low vibration and great shootability characteristics. While this rig is considered to be an enhanced version of the ever popular Maxxis 31, it's a better shooting bow at a lower price. Still, it's not the cheapest bow out there, but is definitely one of the best quality rigs introduced in 2011. Shooters strongly agree the CRX 32 is a perfectly balanced, accurate, and smooth bow that is dead in the hand. With a wide draw weight range (40-90 lbs), this rig is a great choice for all hunters who like to own high quality rigs with great shootability characteristics. Read full review...

The Carbon Element is a very quiet bow with great shootability characteristics. While it could be a bit faster, its innovative riser design along with a very smooth draw cycle and efficient silencing package make it a great shooting bow. Very lightweight, forgiving, and perfectly balanced, even a bare Carbon Element delivers very quiet shots with virtually no hand shock or vibration whatsoever. While it still has a higher price tag, the Carbon Element is much more affordable than the ever popular and very similar Carbon Matrix. Built with very innovative, effective, and proven technologies, the Carbon Element is admittedly one of the best shooting hunting bows in 2011. Read full review...

The Hoyt Maxxis 31 is a very maneuverable, lightweight, and well balanced bow with extremely low vibration and great shootability characteristics. Available in weight ranges from 40 lbs to 90 lbs this top hunting bow is ideal for big game hunters. While being a bit expensive, this top quality bow is a pleasure to shoot. Being accurate, forgiving, quiet, and smooth, this bow is also a very good match for average shooters who prefer shorter, maneuverable bows. Read full review...
