Summary
Summary review written by our editors.

The Mathews DXT is a very lightweight and maneuverable bow capable of producing fast IBO speeds. While this rig is not as smooth as some of the smoothest Mathews single cam bows, the DXT is reported to have a nice smooth draw cycle with a solid back wall. Outfitted with durable limbs and comfortable grip, the DXT is a high-performing, lightweight, and compact bow. With a proven and effective silencing package, the hand shock is minimal and results in a very quiet shot. While the eccentric system is not adjustable and requires new cams for changing draw length, this design helps to tune each DXT bow to deliver better performance and increase consistency. Ideal for tree-stand and blind hunting, the Mathews DXT is a very good choice for average shooters who like shorter bows that draw smoothly and are quiet at the shot. Read full review...

The Mathews Drenalin is a fast, light, and compact bow with a unique slim feel. Even though the Drenalin entered the market in 2007 it continues to remain one of the lightest bows on the market due to its advanced limb design. Despite its low weight the bow's limbs hold up to torque very well even at full draw. The Drenalin inherited both smooth draw and quietness from the Mathews Switchback, its successful predecessor. It's a great choice for average shooters and those hunters who cover a lot of ground carrying the bow all day long. Read full review...
